Continuing with my monthly guide, this time featuring events in Vienna in May 2026. For me, May is one of the most beautiful months in Vienna. Everything is finally lush and green again, the days are long, and the outdoor dining areas (Schanigärten) are open everywhere but without the summer heat. It’s simply a really lovely time.

To match that, you’ll find a colorful mix of small festivals, large events, flea markets, and culinary highlights. Maybe there’s something that fits perfectly into your May.
